hm, ok, I see what you mean... I think I forgot about the shading on the back leg. There was so much play of light on the muscles in the back, I think I got caught up in it.
I also noticed after that I didn't get the same curve and I think I might have made the legs a little smaller than what they should have been. I'll have to work on that.
Thanks so much. Drawing or not, as a photographer and model you'll have a great sense of lighting and musculature and that, so your input is helpful and appreciated

Good job. You did very well with proportions and angles. The shading is good, but don't be afraid to go darker. When looking at this I thought his head was a bit square but I saw the photo you worked from and saw that the model's head WAS square. LOL
Once again, very nicely done.

thanks so much I tried to get darker shading, but I stuck with the darkest being closest to the model.... and that was probably lightened when I took the picture. I'm going to have to get a scanner. thanks again, i really appreciate your comment and advice

thanks for checking it out! I didn't mean to be rude or anything by saying this was for practice.. perhaps it was the wrong choice of words. I really enjoyed doing the piece, but I don't feel it's something that I can call my own, because it's your picture, y'know? I guess... The image was originally meant to be appreciated for it's artistic value in the photographic form. I'm getting to draw it because you gave me permission. .. and I'm rambling. Sorry. I'm just really appreciative of you letting me use your images to draw, because I don't get the chance to have models (male or female) so that I can improve.
k, I have to stop now. Thanks again

No worries. Just for clarity, the images I create are NOT meant to be appreciated for their artistic value in the photographc form. I create them to be used as reference. That is why they exist. I am not even trying to directly create "art" with a camera, necesarily. I'm delighted that you helped the image you referenced fulfill the reason that it was created and exists at all.
oh ok! well they are wonderful photos, and I find they are art. very strong images, without using anything extra aside from the human figure. I thought I might have upset you. glad that I haven't! and thank you so much again.

Devious Comments
Not having any drawing ability myself, I'm guessing that making the right leg darker would help to push it back in space.
